On August 19, 1862, the Théâtre Impérial du Châtelet presented its very first performance, with Empress Eugénie in attendance. More than 150 years later, ”Le Chatelet” is still creating daring and entertaining artistic events that make Le Chatelet a joyous, open musical theatre.
