9 - BOOKING SYSTEM

When making a booking on the Website, the browser/user is redirected to a data processor that provides a booking and payment management solution.

The personal data collected is shared with HOTELPARTNER, a public limited company (SA), registered under number CHE-334.941.209.VAT-registered in Switzerland, with its registered office at Chemin de la source 5, CH-1009 Pully, Switzerland.

The data collected in conjunction with HOTELPARTNER is used for the purposes of managing bookings and customers, for invoicing and payment processing, and to carry out marketing activities and customer satisfaction surveys.

Our general terms and conditions of sale on the website set out various rates, including the
commercial designations: ‘flexible rate’, ‘cancellable, non-refundable rate’, ‘cancellable free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival’, ‘cancellable subject to conditions, with a security deposit’

Deposits are governed by Article 1590 of the Civil Code.
The service contract is not concluded; the parties’ commitment is not binding. Either party is free to withdraw from it:
– A customer who withdraws from the contract forfeits their deposit, unless the rate provides for the possibility of recovering the deposit in the event of cancellation
– If the hotelier withdraws from the contract, they must refund double the amount of the deposit paid.

Under the ‘cancellable, non-refundable’ rate in the event of the customer’s withdrawal, the sum retained by the hotel constitutes a fixed termination indemnity received as compensation for the customer’s breach of contract.

Cancellation by the guest results either in a refund, if provided for in the rate, or in the deposit paid at the time of booking being retained in full.
Deposits are binding on both parties.

Please note that any guest who causes damage to the hotel or their room will be held liable and required to reimburse the cost of the damage up to the original value, supported by an invoice for the repair work.
